Publishing History
- From 1972 to 1989 the "Newsletter" was published up to 4 times a year. It contained
mostly researched articles and transcriptions and as time went on it
began to also include association news. All copies, save two, are posted below.
- In late 1989 the Newsletter was split into two publications.
- Canadian Journal of Quaker History containing researched articles - Journals up to 1997 are posted below.
- Newsletter - containing association business news. Those after 1989 are not posted below.
- Starting in 2007, the Newsletter changed its name to The Meeting House and they are posted on this site.
Canadian Journal of Quaker History
The Journal is a bound edition of historical articles and published annually since 1989. Past copies are available on CD through our Bookstore. The Journal is issued to members as
part of the membership fee.
- Call for Papers: The Journal
is looking for well-written articles on any area of Canadian Quaker
history. If you or someone you know has an article of interest, contact
Robynne Rogers Healey to let her know. Her email address and other
details are available on this style sheet.
Old Newsletters and Journals Posted below are old newsletters and journals for research purposes. They
are full of excellent scholarship. Most of the text was successfully captured in a
searchable form but as always with old copies, some text was not clear
enough to be decifered clearly by the scanner.
